Foundation
There is a reason they are called “foundation”. Your foundation will make or break your look. Nothing is worse than buying a cheap foundation and then after a few hours you notice that it isn’t right for you. Your skin may start to become oily or the foundation you choose is too dark or light and a little too pink for your skin tone.
Concealer
Concealers are made to “conceal” your skin imperfections. You don’t want to use cheap concealer that will eventually fade after just a couple of hours. Find the right concealer for your skin tone.
Makeup brushes
Makeup up brushes are your tools. A high quality makeup tools will make a substantial difference in how your makeup applies and as well as how it looks. You will be able to blend your makeup well if you use good quality brushes. A well-blended makeup looks really good.
Lipsticks and lip glosses
While they are many nice lipsticks on affordable prices, it is still worth the splurge especially if you have sensitive lips or you will wear the lipstick for long hours. Cheap lipsticks come in different gorgeous shades, however they sometimes cause dry and chapped lips. Also they are not meant for long wear. So it is really worth spending on lipsticks and lip glosses.
Mascara
Like lipstick there are many cheap mascara available in the market. Most of these mascaras do a great job in making your lashes look thicker. But there are instances that you should splurge on mascara, like if you hate wearing false eyelashes but love the boost they give. If you’re like this, you might want to use 3D fiber lash mascara instead of the normal mascara. It will boost your lashes, and make them appear longer and thicker. And the good news is they aren’t really expensive!
