Add volume and length, and help avoid clumps as well by trying the “zig-zag” technique when applying mascara. Start from the roots, and gently apply mascara in tiny zig-zag motions upwards till the ends of your lashes.

If some of your lashes get clumped, simply use a clean lash comb to brush and gently separate them, try to do it when the mascara isn’t yet dry.

Apply a second layer of mascara to add volume, but never apply a second layer of mascara when the first one isn’t yet dry. Only this way your lashes will look more voluminous and this – without clumps.

Apply lash primer before applying mascara, it will add volume and length to your lashes. If you don’t have a primer, you can simply use an eye cream on your lashes and let it dry, only then apply your mascara

Waterproof mascara is not good for everyday use, not only because removing it takes effort and time but also because waterproof mascara can dry out your lashes and make them weaker. Choose smudge-free mascara for everyday use.

One more important tip!

It’s important to condition your lashes as well.  You can condition your lashes using an olive oil or a castor. Condition your lashes before going to bed, after you’ve finished removing all the makeup. This will keep your lashes healthy and strong.
