Makeup tips for Younger Looking Eyes

Want younger looking eyes? You don’t have to resort to Botox just yet! There are simple yet effective things you can do to have youthful and fresh looking eyes.  Simply follow these makeup tips for younger looking eyes

Be gentle

Did you know that the skin on your eye area is 6-10 times thinner than other parts of your face? That is why it’s important to be very gentle when caring for the skin around eye area. Avoid rough washing, rubbing and pulling the skin around your eyes, because it can have a negative impact on the structure of your skin.

Wear sunscreen

Prevent premature aging and sun damage by using eye creams which have a broad spectrum of protection. Never leave the house without sunscreen. Make it a regular part of your daily makeup routine.

Thread or tweeze instead of wax

Eyebrow waxing can damage the top layer of the skin around your eyes.  Experts say that better to tweeze your eyebrows instead of using wax to avoid damaging the skin around your eyes.

Pump up your lashes

You can easily deflect from wrinkly eyelids just by emphasizing your lashes. Invest in good mascara that will give your lashes volume and length. Not only this will make your eyes and sparkle, this will also draw attention on your lashes not your fine lines.

Groom your brows

Like thinning hair, sparse brows come with age, so they make you look older than you are. To conceal sparseness, fill in the spots with brow powder using an angled brush or you can opt for a pencil. You can also restore your eyebrow thickness by using a growth serum. This is an effective way to have full and healthy eyebrows.

Wear less eyeliner

The more eyeliner you wear the older you look. So do not overdo your eyeliner. Wear eyeliner on just the bottoms of your eyes instead of completely around. Also, try using white eyeliner, this will make your eyes look bigger, brighter, and more youthful.

Avoid applying powder around the eye

One trick to reduce fine lines around the eyes is not to apply powder directly under your eyes where most of us have fine lines. Let your concealer dry well before applying powder to your face and before you put on your eyeliner.
