Makeup Hacks that You Should Know

Can’t leave the house without makeup? You’re not alone! Since makeup is a part of your daily life, we collected some makeup hacks that will make your makeup routine easier and faster.

Foundation

  • For smooth and natural look, try using your finger when applying a water based foundation.  Using your fingers allows you to press it into your skin without looking streaky or spotty. The warmth from your hands heats up the product, making it easier to blend and allowing for a smoother, more natural finish. But be sure that your hand is clean when applying any makeup using them.
  • Don’t throw away makeup in tubes just because it seems like they are empty. Cut them open, and scoop the makeup into plastic pots. This is a great way to save money on makeup.

Concealer

  • Dotting on your concealer may be the most common way to do it, but the best way is it to actually apply it in a triangular formation with the base of the triangle directly under your lash line and the point toward the bottom of your cheek. This shape helps completely conceal any redness or dark circles at the bottom of your eye and it also creates the illusion that your face is lifted.

Eyes

  • Curl before applying mascara, not after. When bare, the eyelashes are suppler so the crimping of the lash doesn’t feel as damaging.
  • Skip false eye lashes, use 3D Fiber Lash Mascara to have longer looking eye lashes instantly!
  • Know how to correctly use a mascara. Wiggle mascara in at the base of the lash and sweep outward and upward. The trick to sexy natural lashes is to get the thickness into the base of the lashes and taper them naturally to the ends, as opposed to chunky, thick ends.
  • Use a business card or credit card to create perfectly-angled winged liner. Angle the card from the outer corner of your eye upwards and draw along it with your liner.  This will create a perfect line every time.
  • Dust on translucent powder in between coating on mascara to plump up your lashes. The translucent powder helps grip the mascara in between coats, leaving you with fuller lashes
  • If you really want your eye shadow color to pop, use this trick. Apply white eyeliner all over your eyelid. Then apply your favorite shadow. The white will help to intensify the color

Lips

  • Make your lipstick last longer, and also give it a matte finish by placing a tissue over your lips and then dusting some powder over the tissue with the help of a brush.
